Experiencing A Stefan Duncan Painting

Image
Encountering a Stefan Duncan painting is equivalent to being a deer frozen in the headlights. Moments pass and you suddenly become aware of yourself again, pulse racing, mouth open, eyes wide. You feel you have been struck in awe. It is not just a painting, but literally a living, breathing thing, with ever commanding presence whose power renders you momentarily helpless. To experience these human emotions is so rare and priceless. Mysteries In Moonlight by Stefan Duncan is a ... masterpiece that defines "Glorious" and shouts to the world "Behold!" This is a work of art that makes you imagine what the Star of Bethlehem must had been to the Three Wise Men. This is truly a magnificent work of art that leaves no doubt Stefan Duncan is one of the greatest artists of our lifetime. In the beginning he may have been inspired by Van Gogh, but now Stefan is blazing his own path into the immorality of the art world. Signed Anonymous .

"The secret in art is, don't worry what other people think. You listen to your soul music and you dance with your brush as your partner. Let your canvas be your dance floor. See each stroke as a dance step. Then the world will go wild that a new dance jig has been born. Stefan Duncan, Dec. 18, 2016. Squigglism - an impressionistic dash with a twist or curve of un-blended color applied in a staggered, flowing formation that creates images. It has been described as a post-impressionistic, neo-gogh style created by Contemporary Master Artist Stefan Duncan in 2001.

Alright....time to paint.  Crank up M83..... Sway to the music.....begin painting..........all the rest of the world fades away...........see you when I come back from the other side.  Today.... a beautiful forest by a lake at sunset with double the colors I usually use and different perspective challenges.  My muses are calling.  Beginning underpainting of current project called "Forest Of Our Lives".

Special Note: I've been feeling very disconnected and a little lost since the recent passing of my mother, who was one of two of my unit of family, really felt a loss of love that I had my whole life.....especially when my birthday came last week....and I was awed, and taken aback by the hundreds of birthday wishes from you all. You helped fill a void that I thought was going to be bottomless. I felt your love when I probably needed it more than any other time in my life....and I thank all of you. I've taken the loss of my mother and put her persona within me....like my conscious thoughts of right and wrong have her voice. Again, thank all of you for your best wishes, I made sure that day to give a thank you back to everyone....and that kept me better busy the entire day, keeping me from sulking in the darkness.

I am very serious and on the "warpath" to reach the zenith of the mountain by creating the most beautiful/emotional/spiritual paintings I can that will reach the four corners of the world. Working 18 hours a day, painting or marketing. I need to reach the right people that collect art along with the populace, do exhibits across the world. The time is now. I need everyone's blessings and support ... because that is my fuel that keeps me burning. Love your feedbacks...your purchases when you can on originals or prints. I am the authentic, true to heart artist that is giving my all to the world for the mission of creating these special paintings. Love you guys. Hope to be recognized as one of the top contemporary masters of our time. It is a title that demands beyond human skill and the highest of passions...for the truest kind of artist...not one just of design or ego, but with an artistic, spiritual mission, who has studied the masters before him, taking on their pa

Squiggleism style of painting, a Living Spirit Art by Stefan Duncan

Image
The Squiggle Tree is one of my most "squiggled" paintings with the unblended paint strokes covering the entire canvases. This method and style is very intense with detail and color. While there are artists producing wonderfully colored paintings, they have less than 10 percent or more of detail than just large swabs of colors.  The colors are maximized for being unblended and juxtaposed to colors opposite of them on the color wheel that really make them pop. Also, my paintings have a 3D effort for the systematic way I place the objects on the canvas.  Then, there is the movement.  Movement is one thing I was so blessed is that movement has always come naturally for me. When I paint, it is like I hear music playing in the scene that I am creating, catching its descents and crescendos, that each note is a tone of color. I also call it a kind of "Living Spirit Art" with each stroke a representative of the Divine's essence.  That if the Divine spoke out of nothing

My Sacred Moment (Love to read your feedbacks)

Image
My Sacred Moment This painting was created with the intention of breaking into a higher level of art with double the colors. Seeing the painting in person, the strokes are stronger, more distinctive. Symbolically, the blue tree on the right shows hints of being devastated by a near splitting of it. It admires the willow on the left that seems unhampered by trauma and basking in the sun.
