Raven's Light

Image
For several months I have been working on a fantasy ep ic called "Raven's Light". It is about never losing faith, of hanging on no matter how small the glimmer of hope my be. I finished the first part in screenplay form yesterday. It was around 138 pages. Working on the second episode. Either it will be a movie or animation...a trilogy or a series. The greatest pleasure of Raven's Light is participating in the journey of it with your characters. They become real. My editors and family talk about them as if they live down the street or family members. Music is the key. I am listening to the soundtrack of Skyrim for more the action parts and traveling. I discovered this group from Spain called Narsilion. OMG, they are etheral/ambient dreamlike fairytale of beauty and sadness. Their song "A Night In Fairyland" fits so perfect with the most dramatic scenes in Raven's Light/episode I. I cried three days listening to that and writing the scene...

Between Mortal and Divine

I know the difference between Mortal and Divine.....from what I see with my imagination...to what comes out on the canvas. Something so beautiful you could never wholly recreate. You can only do the best you can and hope it is enough of a glimmer of what you imagined to delight the viewer.
Today worked on the new beginning for the "Raven's Light" project. Saturday will be at studio hoping for some christmas sales. Will be beginning on the next themed exhibit called "Ravens" of which some of these will be inspired from the "Raven's Light" project. Have a new manager, Aaron Longstreht and Brett. With all these Ravens projects seems like all I've been thinking about lately. I do feel this connection. The solo bird in black cawing, attracted to shining things - bringer of light to the world as in the native american mythology...accept I do this through my paintings.

Ravenism

Today created the term "Ravenism" as an art style bascially the same as illuminism. Illuminism sounds more artsy, but has association with the illuminati, which is a direct controdiction to their name and what they do; Raven in mythology brings Light to the world. It is associated some with death...but I wear black alot like a Johnny Cash thing, to feel and relate to the blight of others and the darkness of the world... to take it in, to sympathize then churn out that darkness back into the form of Light...God's Light using the media of paintings and words and good deeds to inspire and bring hope to others.

Illuminism

Stefan Duncan Today, I announce the beginning of a worldwide movement using art as the catalyst. Today is the creation of "Illuminison." It is an art movement focusing on the Divine's illumination through nature as a counter movement to the current state of gloom and hopeflessness from the current worldwide state of affairs in politics, religious wars, economic losses, and natural disasters. The world is in a state of darkness and it is time to reawakened the Light of the human spirit. May "Illuminism" remove the veil of darkness so people may see to inspire hope and a sense of peace there is a living Light of the Divine for all mankind and living creatures. Wall Photos ..
